According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, in July 2024, China's SiMn alloy exports were 1,320.97 mt, down 23.36% MoM.

According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, in July 2024, China's SiMn alloy exports were 1,320.97 mt, down 23.36% MoM. The cumulative exports from January to July were 24,500 mt, down 26.35% YoY. In July 2024, China's SiMn alloy imports were 808.32 mt, down 81.58% MoM. The cumulative imports from January to July reached 15,900 mt, up 172.03% YoY.

As steel mills entered the regular off-season for production, both imports and exports of SiMn alloy declined. The main export destination was Indonesia, while the main import source was Malaysia.
